As we celebrate our second annual Teacher Impact Grants, the Brandywine Heights Education Foundation continues to empower educators and inspire students by providing meaningful support for innovative teaching and enriched classroom experiences across the District.

 

This year, our Education Foundation awarded $9,356 in grants to 16 different staff projects across the District. These funds will enhance instructional experiences, support student engagement, and expand classroom resources.  The 2025-2026 Award Recipients include:

  • Angela Kemp – Sensory/Communication Supports

  • Karey Dirsa & Heidi Hoff – Kindness Rocks

  • Melanie Sheetz – Tactile Learning Supports

  • Gina Hook – Reading Olympics Library

  • Terry Flamm & Mary Kate Mannino – MS/HS Peer Mentoring Program

  • Lyndsay Levengood – STEM with Miko the Robot

  • Matt Donato – RAIN Garden

  • Paige Sheeler – Agriculture Career Trips

  • Dan Mark – Virtual Reality, Brought to Life

  • Kristie Scheuer – LCD Math Tablets

  • Erin Davis – LED Notebooks
